Ciao tutti!
It's December 1 (well, it was about an hour ago still), and I decided at the last minute to do another round of my holiday advent calendars. In 2014, I had great fun every day of December on my blog opening a new door each day, sharing something "Venetian" that reminded me of Christmas.
This year I have something similar up my sleeves. I hope you'll flip open a new door with me every day as I countdown to Christmas. I'll have a different photo of an advent calendar that peaks my fancy to share, as well.
For December 1, I'm sharing my version of the 12 Days of Christmas with you. Remember that old favorite Christmas song? Here it is, Venice style.

Make sure you practice so you are all ready for Christmas caroling at the end of the month!
See you all tomorrow when we'll open door #2 together.
Ciao!
As an extra little bonus, I'll post the link to each day's advent calendar from my 2014 blog so you can get a double whammy. I promise, all of this year's posts will be different from those. Enjoy!

Love it!! Singing happily downstairs π
Thanks, Polly! I'm looking forward to hearing you and Colin singing at the top of your lungs all the way from Australia!!
Thanks, Anne! I'll listen for you. Can you believe I came up with this post -every word from start to finish- AFTER we came back up from dinner with you last night? Must have been something very good in that curry!
Wonderful - the best 12 days of Christmas ever!!!!
Thanks, Peg! So glad you enjoyed it. Now practice. We'll be doing a sing-a-long later in the month.
I never could figure out what to do with all those milking maids, swimming swans, laying ducks etc....
I like your version a lot better and I'd settle for just one of each!
I was thinking of you when I saw a chocolate Advent calendar at Trader Joe's.
Will there be any frittele left by March 1? I keep missing them.
Thanks, Michelle! Ohh, a chocolate advent calendar. Now that is right up my alley!
Hope you are learning my song's verses and will be singing it every day.
I'm pretty sure frittelle will be gone by March :(. You'll just have to come 2 weeks earlier and stay longer!
If I could afford it I would but...
and Carnevale is just not for me, at least not at this time in my life.
