View Larger Map Take a look at the map, look way down on the left bottom side, you will see two streets Viale IV Novembre and Viale Piave S. Elena. They intersect at a point. That point is exactly where our apartment building is located. Just to the right of Viale Piave S. Elena is a canal, and across the canal is the Francesco Morosini Scuola Navale Militare, the Naval Academy.
Every morning at precisely 1 minute to 8, the Naval Academy begins the day by playing the Italian National Anthem, Inno di Mameli (or Fratelli di Italia), over the loudspeakers.
