I remember when this same storm hit Floren...Karen,<br /><br />I remember when this same storm hit Florence I had just finished reading the Agony and the Ecstasy so was very "into" Florence at the time. I remember sending money to the relief fund for the Florentines...but I never realized at the time that Venice was effected. Venice was not even on my radar at that time. Now after my many visits to Venice (and experiencing Acqua Alta to a certain extent) I realize3 how devastating it was.
